Inauguration of Mathematics Club and Release of Digital magazine

 Mathematics Club for the academic year 2020-2021 of NSS Training College, Ottapalam  is inaugurated virtually on 29.09.2020,2pm by  the Chief guest R.Ramanujam sir,  SRG, Kerala.  The name of the club inspire is also announced today. The release of digital magazine is done by our college principal Prof(Dr) Ampili Aravind Mam. The chief guest delivered an informative talk on "Math IT Lab".  Falicitation wasDwas made by Dr.  K.S Sajan , IQAC coordinator,; Dr.Sureshkumar K., Associate Professor,; Dr.Sethu S.Nath, Staff Advisor,:  Navaneeth Krishnan and Union Chairman.

MATH LECTURE SERIES-' Exploring Maths with e-learning

Mathematics club in collaboration with IQAC organized Math Lecture Series on the topic "Exploring Math with E-Learning" on 22/10/2020 between 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. 

 Mathematics club in collaboration with IQAC organizers " MATH LECTURE SERIES - EXPLORING MATH WITH E- LEARNING"on 22/10/2020 . Theme of Day 1 was Geogebra Class room" and session was handled by Vinod sir, Geogebra expert in Mathematics teacher community at high school level.  The session is very informative and explores the world of edubundu by student teachers.

MATH LECTURE SERIES- DAY 1

Exploring maths with e- learning 

NSS Training college ottapalam,  Mathematics club in association with IQAC conducted the first day of math  lecture series in Google meet on the topic GEOGEBRA CLASSROOM on 22nd October 2020.There were more than 50 participants in the program including staff and students. Under the guidance of the Head of the Mathematics Department,  Dr. Minikumari maam,  K.Veena of second year B.ed mathematics coordinated the program. 

The session began with a prayer by Divyasree .K of second year mathematics. Sreeshma. S delivered the welcome speech. The presidential address was given by the principal, Dr. Ampili Aravind maam. 

The resource person for the session was Vinod Machigal , (HST Mathematics,  TRK HSS Vaniamkulam ). Vinod Sir gave us a glimpse of the GEOGEBRA Application- how to use it, various functions of the application and so on along with live demonstration. He stressed the relevance of ICT enabled mathematics teaching that can facilitate easy learning of the subject. The class was really useful and informative to us.

Dr. Minikumari maam, Head of the Mathematics Department rendered the vote of thanks. An e- certificate was provided to all the participants. There was live streaming of the session on the college YouTube channel, Vaighari. The webinar received great appreciation and attention from both faculty and students.
