STATE LEVEL SEMINAR ON CONCERNS IN PEDAGOGIC THOUGHTS

                             A state level seminar on Concerns in pedagogic thoughts  was conducted by Department of Mathematics Education, NSS training college, Ottapalam on  29th July 2022 . Neha.S, B.Ed 2 nd  year student welcomed the program. The function was presided over by the Principal Dr.Ampili Aravind. The chief guest was Vinod Machingal, HSA TRKHSS Vaniyamkulam. Dr.  K S Sajan (IQAC Coordinator),  Dr.Sureshkumar K  and Sri. Suresh Kumar K (Head accountant) felicitated the function. The function was followed by an excellent and interactive session by Vinod Machingal. Resmi P V, ,B.Ed 2nd  year student delivered the vote of thanks.

INITIATORY SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

 Teaching trainees were given orientation on Initiatory School Experience by Dr. Minikumari. The program started on 17/9/2021 and was concluded on 22/7/2022. Three shared lesson plans were developed. Accordingly, the students took classes and reflected on their experiences in the diary.

WORKSHOP ON TEACHING AIDS - MATHEMATICS

  

Various teaching learning aids were prepared to facilitate mathematics learning. An orientation class was given by Dr. Minikumari on July 19, 2021. 5 charts, a still model and a working model were prepared. Charts included definition chart, flow chart, table chart, tree chart and flip chart.

Subject experts were invited to the college to take classes for the students. 1 video lesson was presented. Also 4 lessons were demonstrated based on constructivist approach. The program continued from 12/7/2022 to 14/7/2022

STATE LEVEL SEMINAR ON VEDIC MATHEMATICS

                 A state level seminar on Vedic Mathematics was conducted by Department of Mathematics Education, NSS Training College, Ottapalam on  14th July 2022. Dr. Minikumari D ,HOD, Department of Mathematic Education welcomed the gathering. The chief guest was Haridasan S (Scholar of Vedic Mathematics ). Dr. K. S Sajan (IQAC coordinator) and Dr.Lekshmi V (Staff Advisor) felicitated the function.  An interactive session was made by Haridasan S. Prabitha MM (Research scholar) delivered the vote of thanks.
