National Mathematics Day

 

NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY CELEBRATION

 

On 22rd December 2022,the Mathematics club of NSS Training College Ottapalam celebrated 'National

 Day ' remembering the birth anniversary of the great mathematian Srinivasa Ramanujan. 

The program started with prayer. 1st year BEd student Jasmy V J delivered the welcome speech. The program was presided by the college principal Prof (Dr) Ambili Aravind ma'am. Then felicitation was made by Dr K S Sajan, IQAC coordinator ,Dr Lakshmi V , staff advisor and Dr Minikumari D, teacher coordinator of Mathematics club.A theme presentation about Srinivasa Ramanujan was done by Krishnapriya P. 

 Later the session was taken over by the resource persons  Mrs Uma N and Mrs Prathiba M , research scholars of our college. The sessions were about Retrospection and Vedic Mathematics respectively. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks which was delivered by Sruthy P R, 1st year BEd Mathematics student.

2021 - 23 Batch Internship

SCHOOL INTERNSHIP 2021-23

The school internship program of the academic year 2021-23 commenced on 14/9/2022 for 80 working days. Students worked with high school and higher secondary schools.

22-24 micro teaching

MICRO TEACHING

Dr. Minikumari conducted an orientation about microteaching. It was asserted that microteaching is essential to develop specific teaching skills, confidence and for modification of teaching behaviour. At least 5 teaching skills were mastered by the students and they were integrated through link practice. MIcroteaching was carried out from 16/11/2022 to 8/12/2022
